Head Coach:
Kevin Patrick
Head Coach Kevin Patrick has been coaching in one aspect or another for approximately 20 years, right around the same amount of time that he has been married to his wife Kelly. Kelly is a commodities broker that helps farmers decide when to sell their grains. They have 2 boys, Liam (11) and Brendan (4), who are both enrolled in Cathedral Parish Catholic School in Downtown Saint Augustine. Coach Patrick is a native of Glenside, PA, a suburb of Philadelphia, graduating from Bishop McDevitt High School where he played both Football and Track and Field. He attended Lock Haven University, a State School in PA. From there he has gone on to have a successful career spanning from operations and financial management to most recently, he is the COO of Softengine, Inc., one of our Platinum Sponsors. Softengine helps companies scale their businesses by streamlining operations by implementing enterprise resource planning software.

In addition to his passion for helping our local youth, Coach Patrick is also a proud 4th Degree Patriotic Member of the Knights of Columbus.
A Fourth-Degree member of the Knights of Columbus is part of the highest and most prestigious level within the fraternal organization. The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic fraternal service organization dedicated to charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. The Fourth Degree focuses specifically on the principle of patriotism. Members at this level are often involved in activities that promote patriotism, such as participating in civic events, honoring veterans, and other patriotic endeavors.
To become a Fourth Degree Knight, a member must have been a Third Degree Knight for at least six months and participate in an exemplification ceremony.

Anthony Raiford Jr.
Coach Anthony Raiford Jr is a native of Clarksville, Tennessee. He now lives in Saint Augustine, FL with his partner Renecia and their two kids Anthony III and Rachel.
Coach Raiford has several years experience coaching both offense and defense. On offense he coaches running backs, and on defense he coaches linebackers and defensive ends.

Donald Childress
Coach Donald Childress, better known as Coach Rico, has been coaching football since 1997. He is married to wife Jessica and they have 4 kids, Donavan, Tiana, Alijah and Xavier. Coach Rico is a native of Ohio. He and his family relocated to St Johns County in 2018. He graduated from Purdue University with a bachelors and master’s in human resources. Coach Rico served in the US Army and retired with 21 years in service. Coach Rico’s loves coaching. He has coached baseball, basketball, flag football, softball, and wrestling. He also is an assistant coach for Pacetti Bay Soccer. Coach Rico’s philosophy is simple, Coaching is simple. It’s getting players to play better than they think they can (Tom Landry).

My name is Glen but I go by Tiger. I’m from Newberry, South Carolina. I currently serve active duty as a Navy recruiter in Daytona Beach. I have two years of football experience as a defensive end. I also have four years experience as a defensive coach. I love football and helping the youth develop as great players and mentoring them to become great leaders

Coach Clay is in his 5th season with the Wildcats. He has 2 grown daughters and 2 sons. Coach Clay’s oldest son is a former Wildcat, currently involved with the TCHS football program, his youngest son is a current Wildcat. Coach Clay is a native of St. Augustine, and participated in many years of youth football and baseball before attended Nease High School where he was involved in Football, wrestling, weightlifting and track. Coach Clay is a veteran of the U.S. Army and attended the University of Florida earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Coach Clay has been coaching youth sports since 2016 and is a member of USA Football.

Tyler Mechley
I’m Coach Tyler Mechley, I coach the O-line at Pacetti Middle School. I was previously a head coach for 2 years and an assistant coach for 1 year at the Villages Toros organization. I was born in Cincinnati OH, but I was raised in St. John’s county. I had the opportunity to play in the SJMSAA the first year it started. I played football at Liberty Pines Academy and also played at Bartram Trail High School. For college I went to Mount St. Joseph University where I continued playing football and got my degree in behavioral science.
